1967's I Feel Like I'm Fixin' to Die, the second album from Bay Area psych-rock band Country Joe & The Fish, followed hot on the heels of their breakout debut from earlier the same year, but it represented a major step forward in both material and overall sound achieved by Vanguard Records' producer Sam Charters. Accessible and very much in tune with the alternative culture of the mid-60s, it quickly became one of the cornerstone releases of the new 'psychedelic rock' explosion. The album is opened and anchored by the live standard "The Fish Cheer" and famous anti-Vietnam protest song "I-Feel-Like-I'm-Fixin'-To-Die Rag." 180g vinyl reissue in stereo.
