Stoke, UK-based punk band Discharge turned the world of underground music on its head with their primal bursts of uncompromising speed and aggression. Formed in the late-70s by twin brothers Bones and Tezz Roberts, and Rainy Wainwright, Discharge has proceeded to change the face of punk and indeed extreme music itself. The band's music is characterized by a heavy, distorted, and grinding guitar-driven sound and rawly shouted vocals, with lyrics on anarchist and pacifist themes. Originally issued by Clay Records in 1990, the raging 16-cut deep live album The Nightmare Continues was recorded at Tunstall Town Hall, Stoke-on-Trent in 1983 and features favorites like "Never Again," "Decontrol," "Why," "Realities of War" and more.
