New Run Out Groove Collection featuring Best of Dr. John's Atco Years Plus Previously Unreleased Demos!
Dr. John's key recordings for Atco in the late 1960s and early 1970s are indispensable and are featured on LP1 of the newest Run Out Groove release Professor Bizarre's Funknology. LP2 features unreleased demos, recorded by Dr. John between the years 1968-1974. This bonus material has never been issued before on any format. If you don't own any Dr. John on wax this is a great place to start. If you are a seasoned Dr. John fan, then this collection should not be missed if for the unreleased demo recordings alone. Audio was sourced from the original analog master tapes and lacquers were cut at Sam Phillips Recording Service. The deluxe ROG edition comes pressed on numbered 180g double vinyl courtesy of Record Industry in the Netherlands and is housed in a gatefold tip-on Stoughton sleeve.
