Songs from the West Coast Remastered from the Original Tapes by Bob Ludwig and Cut at Abbey Road Studios: Elton John in Analog As His Music Is Supposed to Sound
Previously unreleased on vinyl, the Grammy-nominated Songs from the West Coast was recorded in multiple studios across California and originally issued in 2001. Inspired by Ryan Adams' Heartbreaker and marking a return to Elton John's piano-based roots, the album features the trio of hit singles "I Want Love," "This Train Don't Stop There Anymore" and "Original Sin," and is one of Elton's personal favorites "all the way through, from start to finish."
Remastered from the original tapes by Bob Ludwig and cut at Abbey Road Studios, this audiophile pressing is how Elton John is supposed to sound in analog.
