Dutch death metal masters God Dethroned make their long awaited return with the new Metal Blade Records release The World Ablaze, the band's first album since 2010′s Under The Sign Of The Iron Cross. The ten track beast serves as the third (and final) part of God Dethroned's World War I trilogy.
The band comments: "The World Ablaze is our final album in the WWI trilogy. We aimed to create an album that is very dynamic and diverse. It contains typical GD riffing with loads of melodies and catchy hooks. The songs are perfect for our live shows as they contain many mid-tempo parts combined with faster and more brutal parts. Diversity to the max! Dan Swanö mixed the album in his typical fashion but without robbing the band of its own identity. Mastering was handled at the Wisseloord Studios where they also mastered albums for bands like Rammstein among many others, and they put the icing on the cake. The album sounds crystal clear and heavy as fuck at the same time."
Dan Swano adds: "God Dethroned have taken a great turn on the fields of death metal. This album is a great combination of all kinds of tempos and styles the genre has to offer, each performed with crushing perfection, and catchy choruses and memorable melodic hooks! Will go down well among fans of Bolt Thrower (R.I.P.) and some of the other Dutch death brigades I've had the pleasure of working with!"
