Released less than a year after Iggy Pop's solo debut The Idiot, 1977 follow-up Lust For Life marked a welcome return to the sloppy, sleazy, bluesy, swagger of the legendary Stooges. Though the record is, again produced by David Bowie, he takes much more of a backseat musically here, allowing for Iggy to take center stage in this true return to form. Home to definitive fair like the title cut, "The Passenger," and "Sixteen," Lust For Life is hands down Iggy's best solo outing and an absolute must have classic from the proto-punk pioneer. Reissued here on colored vinyl courtesy of 4 Men With Beards.
