UMLE presents onetime number one banda singer in the US and Mexico Jenni Rivera's posthumous Sus Mejores Joyas ("Your Best Jewelry"), a vinyl collection which features 20 tracks total and 10 covers (both pop and banda versions) of timeless Latin classics including "Basta Ya," "A Cambio De Que," and "Detras De Mi Ventana" among others.
In 2011, Rivera released her first ever ballads album Joyas Prestadas "Borrowed Jewels") and entered a new musical facet of her career. Fans got to hear a more tenderhearted, humble, more sensitive, but above all, much more artistic side of Jenni as she sang ballads and classic songs that were once great hits for top artists. The album won a Lo Nuestro award for Pop Album of the Year.
Rivera said, "The title of the album is a reflection of my feelings for these songs - they are veritable musical jewels that other singers made popular. These incredible singers have now given me the honor of lending them to me so that I can sing them myself."
