More than just a M.C., Kase.O (the alter ego of Javier Ibarra) has become a real institution. Born in Zaragoza in 1980, he is probably the most relevant figure in the Spanish rap scene and one of the founders - alongside Sho Hai, Lírico and R de Rumba - of the seminal band Violadores del Verso. Their honest and carefree lyrics inspired a generation of Spanish-speaking rap enthusiasts around the world. The band split up in 2009 and Kase.O went on to explore new territory in solo efforts like Jazz Magnetism (2011). But a major step forward came in 2016 with the release of El Círculo, in which he really opened himself up in 17 songs overflowing with sensitivity and honesty. Featuring Xhelazz, Sho-Hai, Hermano L, Shabu One Shant, Mcklopedia and Najwa.
