Go Be Forgotten is the second of two full-length Krallice albums issued in 2017. The New York City outfit's self-titled 1997 debut set the U.S. metal world ablaze, seeming to come out of nowhere and making a distinguishing mark on North American black metal and what it would become. A decade later, this dynamic collection touches upon that time, and the feeling of earlier Krallice records. "The album's sprawling title track seamlessly works synthesizers into the mix, adding a refreshing sense of space, texture and drama to the nearly 11-minute composition without ever compromising the bleak intensity or technical precision of the band's attack," writes Rolling Stone in their '20 Best Metal Albums of 2017' list. "The seven-and-a-half minute ambient instrumental "Quadripartite Mirror Realm" perfectly sets the stage for a time-shifting, mind-frying assault ("Ground Prayer")."
