Maroon 5 stand out as not only one of pop music's most enduring artists, but also one of the 21st century's biggest acts. The three-time Grammy Award-winning multi-platinum band close out 2017 with the release of their highly anticipated sixth studio album, Red Pill Blues. Produced by J. Kash and featuring special guest appearances by SZA, Julia Michaels, A$AP Rocky and LunchMoney Lewis, the first taste of the album comes in the form of the infectious lead single "What Lovers Do." "This record does have a pretty consistent vibe and it listens pretty well as an album," explains guitarist James Valentine to Billboard. "It's not a concept album or anything, but it's a good collection of songs that flow into each other...I really love "What Lovers Do. I feel like it really embodies this sort of Maroon 5 sound...A lot of these songs do rely more on electronic production."
