Since forming in 2005, Mayday Parade have amassed one of the most loyal, rabid fan bases around thanks to energizing concerts and five studio albums full of heart-on-sleeve lyrics. Comprised of childhood friends who cut their teeth in the Tallahassee, FL music scene, the group famously self-released their 2006 Tales Told by Dead Friends EP and followed the Warped Tour around selling the CD to kids waiting in line – which eventually led to a record deal and several official stints performing on the Warped Tour, as well as tours with bands ranging from the Pierce The Veil, to All Time Low, and PVRIS.
In celebration of Tales Told by Dead Friends' 10th anniversary, Fearless Records is reissuing the EP on limited edition colored 10" vinyl featuring the original six tracks that started it all plus one brand new studio cut. The 10" is housed in a special hard bound 12-page book featuring a re-imagined cover, personalized intro from Derek Sanders and autographed postcard from the band. Mayday Parade says, "When we first started the band, the first two songs we wrote were, "Three Cheers For Five Years" and "When I Get Home, You're So Dead". We knew we had something special and tried to record the tracks as fast as we could. We finally felt like we were on to something. The result was our debut EP Tales Told By Dead Friends."
