A fertile combination of rock, hard blues, psychedelic acid-washed guitar and blue eyed soul, Moloch is a prime example of the wildly eclectic music coming out of Memphis in the late-60s/early-70s. Led by master guitarist Lee Baker, the group recorded their lone self-titled album at the legendary Ardent studios with esteemed producer Don Nix (widely credited as a key architect of the 'Memphis Sound') who also penned a majority of the material including the standard "Goin' Down" which would later be covered by Eric Clapton, Freddie King, Jeff Beck and J.J. Cale. 180g LP housed in a single pocket old-school style jacket with printed inner sleeve and new liner notes.
