Motörhead's very first live album, What's Words Worth?, was recorded at the Roundhouse in Chalk Farm, London in February 1978 but not officially released until 1983 after No Sleep 'til Hammersmith. Wilko Johnson organized a charity event to help preserve some William Wordsworth manuscripts and for contractual reasons Motörhead performed under the alias Iron Fist & The Hordes From Hell. Chiswick Records arranged to use the Rolling Stones' mobile recording studio to capture the intimate gig and the proceedings find the band in vintage form fresh off the chart success of their eponymous debut blazing through "The Watcher," "Iron Horse/Born To Lose" and "White Line Fever" among others with signature reckless abandon.
