Conceived in suburban Minnesota, Remo Drive delivers a high-energy punky brand of indie rock. The band was founded by brothers Erik and Stephen Paulson in late 2013 and after self-releasing several singles and EPs on Bandcamp, the two along with bassist Sam Mathys set out to record their debut album, aptly titled Greatest Hits. "We recorded in our parents' house," Erik said. "We did drums in the living room, guitars and bass in my basement and vocals in my bedroom. Recording on our own was a new way to look at recording and arranging our songs." "There's an overriding sense of joy and strength in camaraderie across Greatest Hits' 10 tracks, not a moment that drags," writes City Pages.
