Jay Alansky aka Patrick Arondel - one half of the duo who brought us The Beautiful Losers' 1974 album Nobody Knows The Heaven among many other works - has been active in the music world for the last four decades producing various albums under many different aliases. Here we have a faithful reissue of a release from one of his earliest projects, Season, also featuring Christophe Jacq, François Dorembus and Michel Michalakakos. It was originally issued on Arondel's father's label Monde Melody and sold in small quantities, mostly around their own high school at the Lycée Voltaire. The counter-culture elements of the late-60s and early-70s melt in a stunning folk-prog rarity from the French underground that has remained a well kept secret over the years. The average age of the musicians was only 16 years old and the collection was recorded in just nine hours using studio time offered by Jay's father. A pair of bonus songs from the group's "Hello Life" single and an insert with liner notes by Jean-Emmanuel Deluxe round out the reissue.
