German thrash titans Sodom's first appeared on the scene back in 1982. Be it their early demo tapes, their In The Sign Of Evil EP, or their 1996 debut album Obsessed By Cruelty: Sodom intimidated the world at large from the very beginning. With 1989's Agent Orange, however, the band from Gelsenkirchen in the Ruhr area unleashed a milestone of the genre. Built around Tom Angelripper's fascination with the Vietnam War and dedicated to "soldiers and civilians who died by senseless aggressions of wars all over the world," Agent Orange served as the group's true breakthrough when it became one of the first thrash metal albums to enter the German album charts peaking at No. 36. Double vinyl reissue with bonus tracks!
