The Easybeats are Australian music royalty; leaving an undeniable mark on the country's music history that continues to be felt today. Originating from a migrant detention center in Sydney's west and guided by the iconic trailblazing producers Vanda & Young, the band went on to international stardom in the 1960s and were the first act from Australia to score an international hit with the 1966 single "Friday On My Mind." Out of print on vinyl for over 35 years, the 43-track collection Absolute Anthology 1965-1969 has been digitally remastered from the original tapes and is pressed on gatefold 2LP with an accompanying 12-page booklet. Joining the aforementioned "Friday On My Mind" is the 1969 charting single, "St. Louis," "Women," "Good Times," "Sorry" and many more!
