Call To Confirm Colored Copies Are Still Available
Paper Bag Vintage is thrilled to reissue The Russian Futurist's acclaimed 2003 album, Let's Get Ready To Crumble, on colored vinyl. Hailing from Eastern Ontario, Matthew Adam Hart's one-man indie pop orchestra project came up at a similar time as Caribou, Junior Boys and Stars and makes lo-fi bedroom recording into an art form. He drew rave reviews, as well as comparisons to Magnetic Fields and the Flaming Lips, for his 2001 debut, The Method of Modern Love, and made fans of R.E.M.'s Peter Buck and Blur guitarist Graham Coxon in the process. Hart's ability to make the cheapest production quality sound lush and expansive was truly put to the test on follow-up Let's Get Ready to Crumble, which he recorded for less than $100 and also received rave reviews.
