In 1977 Sweet signed a new recording deal with Polydor and were on the cusp of touring the U.K. and Europe in support of their sixth album Level Headed. Released in January of 1978, it was the last album the band would record as the original four piece that had achieved so many Top 20 hits. Level Headed's "Love Is like Oxygen" was their last Top 10 hit, earning co-composer Andy Scott an Ivor Novella Award nomination along the way. This historic release with liner notes by bassist Steve Priest documents Sweet's actual rehearsals for the forthcoming Level Headed tour at Shepparton Studios in Shepperton, Surrey, England. Remastered at Pearl Sound Studios by Chuck Alkazian and Jason Hartless and manufactured at Third Man Pressing in Detroit, MI.
