Call To Confirm Colored Copies Are Still Available
The Toy Dolls formed in Sutherland in 1979 as a part of punk rock's second wave. Centered around lead singer and skilled guitarist Michael "Olga" Algar, the band has long been a cult attraction, their hyperactive anthems to the absurd earning them a dedicated following. Let Them Eat Vinyl offers up a deluxe colored reissue of the band's 1993 album Absurd-Ditties, regarded as one of their finest by Olga, the critics and the fans alike. "We never thought at the time that this would turn out to be one of the best Toy Dolls albums," Olga explains. "We knew it was OK, but the production turned out very, very nice, and some songs I thought were very average turned out to be stage favourites! 'Alec's Gone' is really nice. I listen to this album quite often...In fact I would say its The Toy Dolls' best album."
