Tom Segura's second comedy special Mostly Stories is named after the strange and often unbelievable occurrences the bearded, bawdy and comically bitter funny man encountered while performing stand-up on tour, and his personal struggle with getting older. His tales cover everything from a strip club named "Beef" to revealing the real key to a man's heart to the lie he told Mike Tyson. The special originally premiered on Netflix on January 8, 2016. "I'm excited to be working once again with Comedy Dynamics. Sure, the money is nice, but they're also very sexual in their approach, and I can't turn them down," said Segura.
"There's a game I sometimes play, wherein I imagine which living stand-up comics I would invite to dinner in a sort-of who's who of potluck hilarity. I won't divulge the entire list, but suffice it say I want the storytellers, the ones who weave a yarn so preposterously true that it leaves everyone doubled over in laughter...Tom Segura tops that list. He's the comic you want at a dinner party. Segura won't necessarily be the most outspoken guest, but the way he observes human behavior, stores it away in his brain where it can stew into something entirely other, and then recounts that experience promises to be a surefire hit for any such occasion." - Amanda Wicks, Paste
