Big Audio Dynamite This is Big Audio Dynamite on 180g LP
100% Analog AAA Mastered by Ryan K. Smith at Sterling Sound
Mick Jones formed Big Audio Dynamite circa 1984 in the wake of his firing from The Clash following the band's Combat Rock (1983) release. The innovative act, which also featured filmmaker Don Letts, went on to release a series of albums with varying line-ups and monikers until splitting up in 1997. Their enterprising 1985 debut This Is Big Audio Dynamite further explores the experimental funk elements and electro rhythms of Jones' final efforts with The Clash and yielded a trio of futuristic dance singles with "The Bottom Line," "Medicine Show" and "E=MC2."
