Bjork Lionsong: Choral Mix Featuring Untold on Limited Edition Colored 12" Vinyl + Download
Björk issues the second part of the three part series of the remix project for her latest album Vulnicura. Björk has collaborated with some of the music industry’s most forward thinking forces, to create sets of ingenious remixes to accompany her latest album. Part one of the Vulnicura Remix Project was made up of select collaborations with Lotic, Katie Gately, Mica Levi (of Micachu and The Shapes) and Kramphaft.
Now Part Two kicks off with new mixes of "Lionsong" – a Choral version featuring Untold, who describes his rework: “in this alternate version the vocal floats above an amazing choral arrangement, the rhythm driven by a tuned percussion sample from one of my early tracks.” The Vulnicura remix project will be released in very limited quantities for collectors only, as a series of single-sided etched translucent 12 inches, in die-cut sleeves with accompanying MP3 download cards.
"Featuring the Icelandic choir that was on Biophilia and I edited a beat to it. An old rare song from untold called flexible. Kinda always fall flat for beats like this, that have a sense of humour , slapstick and played with sticks and stones but still electronic and are no genre. Not punk not house not charleston not rave...this is one of the characters Lionsong could be be, the hyper outgoing one, he was kind enough to be up for this experiment." – Björk
