Bryan Adams is one of the world’s most highly acclaimed singer/songwriters. In a career that has spanned more than four decades, the Grammy-winning singer has sold more than 65 million albums worldwide, garnered 21 top ten hits, earned nominations for three Academy Awards and five Golden Globes, received 18 Juno Awards, an American Music Award and five ASCAP Film and Television Music Awards for Most Performed Song from a Motion Picture.
Universal is now set to re-release Bryan Adams’ game-changing fourth record Reckless on double vinyl with remastered audio, seven previously unreleased bonus tracks and three live cuts. The Reckless reissue has been personally overseen by Bryan working with many of the original team including Bob Clearmountain, Bob Ludwig and Jim Vallance. The 2014 remaster by Ludwig enticingly includes seven previously unreleased bonus tracks written with Vallance. Of utmost interest to fans will be the actual inclusion of the track “Reckless” which due to deadlines did not make it onto the original album.
Released in 1984, Reckless produced a record six hits: "Run to You," "Kids Wanna Rock," "Somebody," "Summer of ’69," "One Night Love Affair" and "It’s Only Love," a duet with the incomparable Tina Turner. Reckless also gave Bryan his first U.S. #1 on Billboard with "Heaven" as well as a Diamond Award for over a million copies sold. The album was the turning point in Adams’ career, resulting in his hugely successful World Wide in ’85 Tour.
