Crywank Tomorrow Is Nearly Yesterday And Everyday Is Stupid on LP
Crywank is a Manchester based anti-folk band. They mostly write sad songs and have been told they are the worst named band in the country. Crywank's brilliant 2013 album Tomorrow is Nearly Yesterday and Everyday is Stupid is now available on vinyl for the first time courtesy of Mutant League/Victory Records.
"This is our first physical release that isn't CD-R's in handmade cases and it's something we never thought would happen. I remember when I first started I was just met with a constant barrage of people telling me I'd go nowhere with a band name like Crywank and to change it. I also had people telling me I'd go nowhere due to my lack of experience and ability, let alone the band name. Six years has past since then and I'm pretty baffled with how far everything has come.
"My music has reached more people than I could have ever hoped, and to have a real physical record pressed is a childhood dream that I'd only considered fantasy come true. I'm not the best at promoting myself, or booking shows or even organizing anything, leaving the house is difficult for me most days. I know full well we'd not be able to release a record, or even have an audience for any of our songs if it wasn't for the fans who share our music, write about our music, engage with our music and have a passion for music. Thank you all so much." - Crywank
