Moving Music records presents the previously unreleased soundtrack to the Norwegian cult film, Heaven and Hell, written and composed by maestro Egil Monn-Iversen. It features such heavyweight jazz musicians as Terje Rypdal, Jan Garbarek and the late Svein Christiansen while the mix comes courtesy of Jan Erik Kongshaug. It was recorded in the summer of 1969 and planned for a full release, but never came to fruition, until now. Egil Monn-Iversen's vivid and groovy score borrows elements from John Barrry and Lalo Schifrin soundtrack music, and the opening theme song sung by Inger Lise Rypdal, sounds like it came straight out of a James Bond film.
