Eminem The Marshall Mathers LP 2 on 2LP

Serving as the direct follow-up to 2010's Recovery and the sequel to the 2000 landmark release The Marshall Mathers LP, The Marshall Mathers LP 2 is the latest offering from Detroit hip-hop legend Eminem. Executive produced by Dr. Dre and Rick Rubin and featuring guest appearances by Rihanna, Kendrick Lamar, Skylar Grey and Fun's Nate Ruess, the new 2LP-set is preceded by the hit singles "Berzerk," "Survival," "Rap God" and "The Monster." Reflecting the times, the album's cover art depicts the artist's same childhood Detroit home found on The Marshall Mathers LP, but now boarded up. 

Eminem on the album to Rolling Stone, "As much as it is a revisitation – like this is a different time period in my life. So there's not gonna be like, continuations of every song or anything like that. To me, it's more about the vibe and the nostalgia. One of my favorite new things to do is experiment with new, older breakbeats and sounds and shit like that. You know, retro shit, and try to make it current, like bring it up to date."
