Gregory Isaacs Warning on LP
1990's Warning is a somber, controversial masterpiece from the legendary ‘Cool Ruler' Gregory Isaacs. An overlooked early digital era classic produced in Waterhouse by King Tubby and boasting the magnificent rhythms of the Firehouse Crew, Warning has been unjustly neglected since its original release on the aptly entitled Serious Business label.
Dub Store Records is the ska, rocksteady, reggae and dancehall reissue label run by the eponymous Tokyo based record store. The label aims at accurately covering the 50-plus years of Jamaican music, and passing on many rare and magnificent recordings, which are non-commercial and highly artistic.
Carefully handing down the tradition of reggae music, Dub Store Records has so far issued recordings from labels/artists such as Studio One, Federal Records, Jammys, Bunny Wailer's Solomonic, Derrick Harriott, Kiddus I, Redman International and King Tubby's Firehouse.
