Call To Confirm Colored Copies Are Still Available
Hawkwind's impact and influence spans both decades and genres. Psychedelic '60s and hard rock '70s, the band's line-up has over time included Nick Turner, Robert Calvert, Simon House, Ginger Baker, Lemmy Kilmister, Alan Davey and leader/founder Dave Brock. The English outfit has inspired decades of highly respected musicians and their songs have been covered by artists large and small.
Originally released in 1997 on the Emergency Broadcast label, Distant Horizons features a line-up of Dave Brock, Richard Chadwock, Ron Tree and Jerry Richards and took the band's signature space rock into a new era, absorbing ambient and electronic influences into the mix to create a set of tracks that were both contemporary and classic Hawkwind. Featuring excellent material such as "Taxi for Max," "Alchemy," "Phetamine Street" and "Wheels."
Deluxe double colored vinyl reissue from Let Them Eat Vinyl complete with the three bonus tracks, "Archaic," "Kauai" and "Morpheus."
