Call To Confirm Colored Copies Are Still Available
When Ronnie James Dio and Tony Iommi teamed up in 2005 to write and record a few new songs, the only thing anyone imagined would result from the collaboration was a couple of obligatory "new tracks" for an upcoming compilation entitled Black Sabbath: The Dio Years. In fact, the songs led Dio and Iommi to re-team with Geezer Butler and Bill Ward, the foursome named themselves Heaven and Hell, after the 1980 Black Sabbath album on which they'd all played. Although Ward didn't last in the lineup – he was soon replaced by Vinny Appice – Heaven & Hell released this album, which turned out to be heavier than anything they'd ever recorded as Black Sabbath but easily as strong. 2LP set on colored vinyl with etching on side 4 and band poster.
