The first LP ever released on Warner Bros. Records, Inc.!
Originally conceived for the 1958 re-release of the movie starring Gary Cooper and Ingrid Bergman, this 1958 stereo recording of the original 1943 Victor Young score, conducted by Ray Heindorf, is a testament to the superb sound and playing of the Warner Bros. Studio Orchestra (comprised of some of the finest orchestral players in the world, supporting themselves with that top studio money.) If you like Big Orchestral Sound, with lots of tubey magic, you can't go wrong with this one.
