Hinder When The Smoke Clears on LP
Combining raw riffs with big hooks and vocal harmonies, Hinder takes their cues from rock legends such as Aerosmith, AC/DC, Kiss and Guns N’ Roses, and updates them with modern guitar sounds. Their debut Extreme Behavior catapulted the band to mainstream fame while 2008’s follow up Take It to the Limit surpassed Gold status after debuting at #4 on the Billboard Top 200. Third effort, All American Nightmare, dropped in 2010, followed by Welcome To The Freakshow in 2012.
The multi-platinum Oklahoma City hard rockers have now welcomed new lead vocalist Marshal Dutton into the fold for the release of their new album, When The Smoke Clears on The End Records. No stranger to the band and fans, Dutton has co-written and co-produced on every Hinder album since 2009’s All American Nightmare.
Says Cody Hanson, "We like to think we can do anything. We don't want to be stuck in a rut with one type of sound or formula. One song might have a country influence, while another might have a pop influence. Then, there are some heavy metal moments. We have every element covered on this record. You've got to do what's best for the song."
Adds Dutton, “I’m ecstatic over this opportunity and I’d like to say thanks to the Hinder family for a warm welcome and all the support. It’s a privilege to be a part of such a great camp and an amazing band! I can’t wait to get out there and rock with the guys and see all the amazing Hinder fans!”
