Kauan Lumikuuro on 180g LP
Russian folk/doom metal band Kauan's debut 2007 album Lumikuuro propelled them onto the international doom metal scene with their raw and cold visions of Siberian winter. The eclectic album incorporates such different styles as dark-folk, black-metal and doom-metal. In Lumikuuro it is possible to find echoes of Shape Of Despair music, Agalloch, early Empyrium and Tenhi. The album is based on the lyrics written in Finnish language. This is the first ever vinyl pressing of the album, presented with high-resolution scans of the original artwork in a reverse-board printed heavyweight single pocket jacket with offset-printed heavyweight inner sleeves on 180-gram LP by cult Finnish label Blood Music.
