Baltimore, Maryland post-hardcore group Lungfish performed and released albums on the Dischord Records label for more than 20 years. The group's consciousness alternately/simultaneously coalesced and dispersed creating a continuous quasi-musical pulse, which reached its climax at many intervals along the way. Lungfish is now, as it often has been, quasi, if not entirely, defunct. Dishord is pleased to present a vinyl reissue of Lungfish's spirited second full-length, Rainbows From Atoms. Originally released in 1993, the album was recorded at Inner Ear Studios in Arlington, Virginia with Ian MacKaye and Don Zientara.Featuring standouts "Axiomatic," "You Might Ask Me What" and "Mother Made Me," this long out of print gem has been remastered for vinyl by TJ Lipple. At the time of this recording, Lungfish was Daniel Higgs (vocals), Asa Osborne (guitar), John Chriest (bass) and Mitchell Feldstein (drums).
