Lynn Taitt And The Jets Sounds Rock Steady on LP
Lynn Taitt is the acknowledged guitar genius behind the rock steady rhythmical revolution. The Jets are a Jamaican backing band founded by Taitt in 1966, who appeared on many rocksteady records. Seemingly insouciant, yet completely compelling, the soulful sound of rock steady has held every subsequent development in Jamaican music in a vice like grip...hear the originator here! Originally released on Merritone in 1967.
