Mew Frengers on Limited Edition Colored 180g 2LP
Produced by Rich Costey (Muse, Franz Ferdinand, Jane's Addiction), 2003's Frengers ("not quite friends but not quite strangers") is the breakthrough third album and first international release from Danish alternative rock band Mew which Spin called, "experimental enough to woo fans of Radiohead and straight forward enough to lap up lovers of Coldplay."
Six of the album's original ten tracks were previously featured on the group's first two limited releases A Triumph For Man (1997) and Half The World Is Watching Me (2000), but were rerecorded for Frengers while the remaining four were created especially for the record. The album is home to the four artful singles "Comforting Sounds," "Am I Wry? No," "She Came Home for Christmas" and "156."
Mastered for vinyl with lacquers created by the famous Stan Ricker, this limited edition double vinyl reissue from SRC comes complete with the two bonus tracks "I Should Have Been a Tsin-Tsi (For You)."
