Reissue of Black Crowes Guitarist/Founding Member's 2011 EP!
Colored Copies Are Limited / Call To Confirm Colored Copies Are Still Available
Officially announcing their recent signing of Rich Robinson, the celebrated former Black Crowes guitarist/founding member, Eagle Rock Entertainment will be releasing not only his new solo album in 2016, but several newly reimagined reissues of Robinson's back catalog including Paper (2004), Through A Crooked Sun (2011), Llama Blues EP (2011) and the Woodstock Sessions (2014). Select releases will come complete with bonus tracks while each will be offered in different colored vinyl configurations.
In 2004 Robinson began his solo journey with the release of his first album, Paper. The record was largely an extension of Rich's musicianship as a Black Crowe showcasing his stellar and underrated guitar playing and, for the first time, he also took on the role of lyricist and lead vocalist with winning results.
It would be seven years before his second solo album, Through A Crooked Sun, and the accompanying EP, Llama Blues, were released as the Crowes reunited in 2005 and were actively recording and touring until their second hiatus in 2010. Llama Blues featured four blues-based tracks similar in sound to the full LP's final track, "Fire Around."
