Steve Earle And The Dukes Exit 0 on 180g LP
1987 Second Album Cut from the Original Masters & Pressed on 180g Vinyl!
A protégé of legendary songwriters Townes Van Zandt and Guy Clark, Steve Earle quickly became a master storyteller in his own right, with his songs being recorded by Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Emmylou Harris, Waylon Jennings, Travis Tritt, The Pretenders, Joan Baez and countless others. 1986 saw the release of his breakout debut, Guitar Town, which shot to No. 1 on the country charts and immediately established the term "New Country."
What followed was an extremely exciting and varied array of releases including his follow-up second full-length Exit O. Recorded with backing road band The Dukes, the 1987 effort incorporated a roots rock style similar to that of Earle's debut and resulted in more Grammy nominations (Best Male Country Vocalist for "Exit 0" and Best Country Song for "Nowhere Road") and radio exposure with standout album anchor "Nowhere Road."
