Streetlight Manifesto Keasbey Nights on Limited Edition Colored LP + Download
Victory Records is pleased to offer the first three studio albums from New Brunswick, New Jersey's Streetlight Manifesto on vinyl including Everything Goes Numb (2003), Keasbey Nights (2006) and Somewhere In The Between (2007). Streetlight Manifesto have allured audiences over the world with their ingenious brand of clever and catchy ska and have become the clear frontrunners of their genre for over 10 years now.
Originally released in March of 1998 by New Jersey heroes Catch 22, the first recording of Keasbey Nights was hailed as an instant ska classic for its revolutionary combination of upbeat reggae and ska styles fused with the much faster, harder edges of punk. A desire for expansion and to push musical boundaries even further led ska visionary Tomas Kalnoky, founding member of Catch 22 and the primary writer of Keasbey Nights, to form ska supergroup Streetlight Manifesto in 1999.
In 2006, Streetlight Manifesto rerecorded the classic Keasbey Nights with a few changes in response to Victory's plan to re-release it. Tomas Kalnoky explained, "If there's one thing I can't stand it's when a CD is re-released untouched sonically, with a new cover and maybe a live video, and kids are duped into buying this new edition of something they already have...We wanted to prevent the re-release of Keasbey untouched as well as get the record to sound how it should have sounded originally."
