The Doobie Brothers Takin' It To The Streets on 180g LP
Friday Music / Doobie Brothers 180 Gram Vinyl Series
Mastered by Joe Reagoso
1975 was both a successful and transitional year for the classic rock legends The Doobie Brothers. After recording a handful of high charting rock masterpieces throughout the onset of the '70s, the band switched gears with a brand new line-up featuring former Steely Dan alumni Michael McDonald and Jeff “Skunk” Baxter and recorded the classic rock staple Takin’ It to the Streets.
With original members Tom Johnston, Pat Simmons, Tiran Porter, Keith Knudsen and John Hartmann in tow, this revitalized chapter of the Doobies became an instant sensation. The platinum plus 9-track effort comes chock-full of all the great cuts you remember from the rockin’ opener "Wheels of Fortune," to Porter’s "For Someone Special" to the trifecta of McDonald homeruns, "It Keeps You Runnin’," "Losin’ End" and the smash title track.
Remastered by Joe Reagoso, this 180g vinyl reissue of the Doobie Brothers' sixth album Takin’ It to the Streets serves as the latest in Friday Music's 180g Gram Vinyl Series with the iconic band.
