The Last Vegas Sweet Salvation on LP
The Last Vegas have been a solid driving force of the rock scene for the last decade. Street tough rhythms, bar sleaze lyrics, and full stack guitar solos paint a picture of raw music blues based, ass shaking good times. Singer Chad Cherry charms and manipulates the audience, while the band picks your pockets with a blue collar, big city gut-punch of honest rock n roll.
Their 2014 album, Sweet Salvation is the group's sixth album to date and was recorded in their hometown of Chicago at Groovemaster studios (Megadeth, Disturbed) with producer Roy Z (Judas Priest, Sebastian Bach) who expands on The Last Vegas' signature sound with winning results.
The Last Vegas show a wide variety of sonic range on Sweet Salvation: glam, blues, acoustic, punk, psychedelic, it's all in there. Like every TLV release, Sweet Salvation is rife with heavy fuzzed out guitars, filthy solos, and Cherry's dynamic vocal stylings.
