Wang Chung To Live and Die In L.A.: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack on LP
The original motion picture soundtrack to William Friedkin's 1985 Secret Service thriller To Live and Die In L.A. also served as English new wave band Wang Chung's third album. More experimental in nature than their previous two conventional pop albums Huang Chung (1982) and Points on the Curve (1984), the dramatic 8-track score is both street tough and capriciously atmospheric in all the right places. The soundtrack's title cut and lone single even peaked at No. 41 on the Billboard Hot 100.
