WASP The Last Command on Opaque Yellow Colored LP
Blackie Lawless launched WASP on the unsuspecting world in 1983 and before long tales of their outrageous music and intense stage shows were legendary. This vinyl edition of the band’s classic second album proves that while the theatrics and shock tactics of Lawless might have gained the headlines, it was what they did on record that gained them legions of fans!
Originally released in 1985 The Last Command followed on from the band’s self-titled 1984 debut and spawned two of the band’s biggest singles, "Blind In Texas" and "Wild Child," along with fan favorite’s "Ballcrusher," "Jack Action" and "Widowmaker." Heavyweight opaque yellow colored vinyl pressing from Snapper Music.
"It was all about shock for W.A.S.P. , be it flaming codpieces, tying a semi-naked woman to a torture rack mid-set, tossing raw meat into the audience or Blackie Lawless’ own stupefying arrogance...One thing is for certain, in the annals of metal there are very few bands like W.A.S.P." - Metal Hammer
