Body Is Ten Times Harder Than Eminent EX

The body is made from super-hard A7075 aluminum with further strengthening measures by applying an ion surface hardening treatment, creating a sandwiching effect and eliminating the inherent resonances of a single material. The result is a 10x harder surface than the body of its sibling, Eminent EX. The resulting extra-hard body, combined with the warm and natural sound of the Super Duralumin cantilever, makes the Hyper Eminent very system friendly, detailed but never lean.

Four Decades of Cartridge-Building Expertise: My Sonic Lab

My Sonic Lab cartridges are the labors of master cartridge designer Yoshio Matsudaira seeking natural reproduction by minimizing signal loss, internal distortion, and phase distortion.
