Full Details

When Genesis completed their touring obligation for 1991's We Can't Dance, Phil Collins finally made good on every fan's worst fears by departing the band, which led to a short-lived stint by former Stiltskin singer Ray Wilson as the new frontman, but after a single album – 1997's Calling All Stations – the band called it a day. Wilson's theatrical vocals more resemble the Peter Gabriel art rock era of Genesis than Collins's more pop/rock reign, and listeners can certainly find some solace in this throwback incarnation of the group for that reason.
