Henryk Szeryng Henryk Szeryng in Recital (200g Vinyl LP)
Full Details
Henryk Szeryng in Recital on 200g LP: RCA Living Stereo Reissue Remastered from the Original Master Tape by Ryan Smith at Sterling Sound and Pressed at QRP
This is a collection of comparatively short but demanding works which test both the musicianship and the technique of the violin virtuoso. Though his technical equipment is prodigious, Polish-born violinist Henryk Szeryng is first a musician through whom a composer's music flows to an audience. Despite his wizardry of strings, fingers and bow, Szeryng has a certain quality of expressive intimacy here which is truly unique.
Mastered by Ryan K. Smith at Sterling Sound from the original 3-track master tapes, cut at 33 1/3, and plated and pressed at Quality Record Pressings.
