Frizzle Fry is the debut studio album by Primus, released on March 7, 1990. The album blends a unique mix of funk, rock, and progressive styles, establishing the band's signature sound.

The album features the band's first single and minor radio hit "John the Fisherman," as well as "Too Many Puppies," "To Defy the Laws of Tradition" and "Groundhog's Day."

It is noted for its eccentric rhythms, off-kilter bass lines, and quirky, often humorous lyrics, characteristic of Les Claypool's bass mastery and the band's playful but intricate musicianship. The album’s style is difficult to categorize but is often associated with the experimental rock genre and the early '90s alternative scene.
