Soilent Green is a metal band from New Orleans who incorporate elements of grindcore, death metal, sludge, hardcore, and southern rock. The band was formed in 1989 by guitarists Brian Patton and Donovan Punch, drummer Tommy Buckley, and vocalist Glenn Rambo (who left early on). Members have also performed with Goatwhore and EyeHateGod. The band has recorded for prominent metal labels Relapse Records and Metal Blade Records.
