SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATOR CHICAGO, IL (HYBRID)
We seek a skilled Social Media Coordinator to cultivate and maintain a robust online presence for our internet retail enterprise. The ideal candidate will possess experience in music and/or high-end audio, a passion for creative ideas, and a keen awareness of social trends. The Social Media Coordinator’s primary responsibility entails executing online marketing strategies across social media channels. He/she/they will collaborate with our internal marketing and purchasing teams — as well as our sister companies — to craft original content promoting products, services, and events while devising innovative ways to engage existing customers and attract new ones through tailored campaigns. The overarching goal is to boost web traffic and customer engagement in line with broader marketing objectives. This role is hybrid, requiring a minimum of three days in-office, subject to change based on business needs.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in video production for social media, with strong storytelling, visual composition, and post-production skills.
  • Demonstrated portfolio of social media videos, with adeptness in various platforms and proficiency in audience targeting.
  • Experience filming with mobile phones and DSLR cameras.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Grasp of lighting techniques for video/film.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, New Media, or related field.

Responsibilities
  • Research audience preferences and current trends.
  • Create compelling text, image, and video content.
  • Design posts to pique interest and generate buzz around new and existing products.
  • Monitor web traffic and SEO performance.
  • Stay abreast of changes in social platforms for optimal effectiveness.
  • Develop an optimal posting schedule based on web traffic and engagement metrics.
  • Propose innovative methods to attract prospective customers.
