Ensure proper tracking, eliminate vibration, prevent damage to your stylus and records, accommodate heavier cartridges, and balance your VPI Gimbal tonearm to perfection with a counterweight custom-made for those purposes. The Gimbal tonearm uses a carriage-style system where the counterweight connects to a machined carriage that moves forward and back depending on which way you turn the dial.
